Emma Lepore is from Rhode Island, where she began to dance soon after walking. She received her B.A. in Dance from DeSales University, and M.A. in Dance from Texas Woman’s University where she studied the integration of dance in end of life care. In December 2025, Lepore earned her EdD in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University where she researched collaborative professional development for secondary singleton teachers in the performing arts. Lepore has taught dance in Ecuador, South Africa, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Lepore is passionate about integrating historical contexts and anatomy and kinesiology into students' movement training.
